When not writing, you can find her climbing mountains in muddy boots, squirrelled into an armchair with a novel and a cup of tea or tending to her potted plants. Harriet Lynas is a children's book illustrator living in Cambridge with her husband and their son. As a child, she was a big fan of Studio Ghibli animations and later she developed a ta ste for mid-century style illustrations. Harriet's inspiration comes from random things like marvellous fossils or a cone of pistachio gelato on a hot summer day.
